School Uniform

The Whitehouse Common Primary School Uniform Comprises of:

- Emerald green sweatshirt
- White polo shirt
- Grey trousers
- Grey skirt
- Green and white check or striped dress (summer optional)
- Grey shorts

Children should NOT wear jeans. Trainer boots and heeled fashion shoes are not suitable footwear.

 

PE Kit Expectations

KS2: Both indoor and outdoor PE kit should brought into school every Monday and stay in school for the week (going home on a Friday), unless otherwise stated by the class teacher.

KS1: Both indoor and outdoor PE kit should brought into school at the start of each half term and stay in school for the full half term (going home on the last day of half term), unless otherwise stated by the class teacher.

Reception children do not require an outdoor PE kit

Indoor PE Kit (all years) is:

- WHC White T-Shirt
- Green PE Shorts
- Pumps

Gymnastics - Please ensure that if your child wishes to wear a leotard that it is plain and dark in colour.

The Outdoor PE Kit (KS1 and KS2 only) is:

- WHC White T-Shirt
- Green PE shorts (for warmer weather)
- Jogging bottoms and jumper (for cold weather) - we request that these are plain and dark in colour
- Trainers are essential

Swimming:

- One piece full swimsuit for girls
- Swimming trunks for boys (not shorts)
- Swimming cap (stock in school for sale)
- Goggles

For safety reasons, we request that these are plain and have appropriate straps.

For all PE Lessons:

- Long hair must be tied back.
- Earrings must be taken out. (For those children who have recently had their ears pierced and cannot remove their earrings, they must bring in tape so their ears can be taped up before any P E activity. )

Please ensure that all items (including shoes) are fully and clearly labelled.

Jewellery

For reasons of Health and Safety, pupils must not wear jewellery in school. Neck chains and earrings can be hazardous to wearers and others. Studs in pierced ears and watches may be worn, but pupils wishing to do so must accept responsibility for these items. During PE pierced ears are to be covered with tape to be supplied by parents.
