We have enjoyed thinking of different ways of moving this week in PE. We enjoyed climbing, walking, crawling and sliding along the equipment. We have sent PE kits home for a wash, over the Easter holiday, as we will be using the bikes and trikes in our outside area next week.

We had a fantastic time on Tuesday for our INSPIRE workshop. Thank you to all the parents that attended. We hope we gave you lots of ideas for how you can help further develop physical development and gross/fine motor skills, at home. Information packs have been sent home for those parents that were unable to attend.

Animal Movement

User Rating:  / 1

We have been enjoying investigating moving in different ways. We went outside and tried to move like different animals. We made sure that we used all the space on the playground and didn't bump into anyone. Can you guess which animals we were trying to be?

This week Reception have been celebrating 'Chinese New Year'. We enjoyed reading the story of how the animals had a race across the river and the first twelve animals were rewarded by having a year of the zodiac calendar named after them. 2018 is the year of the dog. Mental Health Week 2018

User Rating:  / 2

This week has been 'Mental Health Week' in school. We thought about different feelings we might have and what we should do when we experience them. We talked about counting to 10, taking a deep breath, walking away, explaining how we feel to a friend or known adult. We enjoyed a yoga session where we thought about being calm and relaxed.
