Solar Eclipse Video

To capture the events of this morning, we set up some time lapse cameras around the Oaks building to try to catch the moments of darkness. While the light was definitely subdued, it didn't get as dark as some of us expected, and unfortunately it doesn't come across as well on our videos as it did in real-life.

We had brilliant clear skies to watch the eclipse and it was a fascinating and rare experience for all!

Jubilee Celebrations

For the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, we had a fantastic day consisiting of various "royal-related" activities! In the morning, we had an assembly where all the children performed their own dances. Throughout the afternoon, we held various activities outside on the field, including a 'street-party' style picnic, and building a giant Union Jack out of natural resources found around the school site!
