What is the PTA?

Parents and Teachers Association.  Comprised of parents and teachers working together to fundraise for the school


We usually meet once each half term, generally in the Happy Hometime Club.

Who's involved?

Any parent and teacher who wants to be.

What do we do?

Raise money for the school by organising fundraising events that parents and/or pupils can be involved in.  Each year we hold Christmas & summer fayres, quiz nights, discos.  We're always trying to do new things, like a fashion show.  How about you come and give us some more ideas.....please

When do the PTA meet?

We usually meet once each half term, generally in the Happy Hometime Club.  Late last year we also had a coffee morning, and we're hoping to do another soon.

What happens at a PTA meeting?

We decide on future events, come and give us ideas.

What has the PTA fundraised for in the past?feedback loop

Outdoor reading corner in KS1.  Interactive whiteboards in every classroom.  Ice lollies on school sports day.  Outdoor shelter areas.  Assistance in paying for the school trip to see Jungle Book. Security gates

What is the PTA currently fundraising for?

Adventure playgroup equipment.  The school has a wish list and we do our best to fundraise for everything on it

PTA Meeting - AGM


We welcome all parents to join our PTA. Your support is greatly appreciated. The next meeting is Tuesday 24th February at 7.30pm in the Happy Home Time Club. This will be our first annual meeting. We will be reviewing our successes and discussing ideas for events for the year ahead. The money raised is used to purchase resources and equipment for the pupils at our school.

We hope to see you there.

PTA comedy night

On Friday 17th October the PTA are hosting a comedy night in the Oaks' hall.

The headline act will be Christian Reilly. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets cost £10 to include a drink on arrival. Please see the posters around school for more information.

PTA Film Night

Film Night tickets will be on sale from Thursday 1st May and in to next week. The PTA will be selling these outside the Willows building both before and after school. If you are unable to get in to school then send in a note with your request and the correct money in a sealed envelope marked PTA. We will then send the tickets to you via your child.


Family Film Night : PTA Event

On Friday 9th May the PTA will be holding a Family Film Night.

The children will have the opportunity to vote, from a selection of films, which one they would like to watch.

There will be two showings - FKS and KS1 film choice in the Acorns' hall.

Choose from:

  • Despicable Me
  • Tangled
  • Frozen
  • Lion King
  • Jungle Book

KS2 choice will be shown in the Oaks' hall.

The choice is:

  • Monster’s University
  • Epic
  • How to train your dragon
  • The Incredibles
  • Wallace & Gromit - Curse of the Were-Rabbit

This event will run from 5pm - 7.30pm. 

Tickets will be on sale after the holiday 

£3 per child
£5 per adult
£10 for family ticket (up to 2 adults & up to 3 children)
